Paneer Makhani

Serves 4
Ingredients:
· 1/2 kg fresh Paneer cubes (You can fry it if you need but
it is optional)
· Fresh Butter – 2 small cup
· Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tablespoon
· Coriander leaves - 3 tblspn
· Whole milk or fresh cream – 1 cup
· Fried onion – 3-4 Tablespoon
· Garam Masala Powder – 1 teaspn
· Kasuri methi leaves crushed – 1 teaspn
· Salt to taste
For the masala:

Tomato Paste/Puree – 4-6 Tablespoon
·
Tomato Ketchup – 3 Tablespoon
·
Coriander powder - 4 teaspn
·
Garam Masala Powder - 2 teaspn
·
Chili Powder - 1 teaspn
·
Kasuri methi leaves crushed - 2 teaspn
· little milk to mix to a fine paste
· Food color (Optional)
Prepare Masala:
1. Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients listed for masala
and make a thick smooth gravy.
Prepare Main Dish:
1. Heat butter in a pan and melt it.
2. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes.
Usually it takes 2-3 minutes.
3. Add fried onions and saute for 2-3 minute on medium flame.
4. Add masala gravy prepared earlier to this vessel and mix
well.
5. Close lid and let it simmer for 5-6 minutes on slow flame.
6. Add little salt and mix well.
7. Add fresh cream or whole milk and thin the gravy to the
right consistency. Make sure to add milk little by little.

Add paneer cubes and mix once and bring to
boil.

Adjust salt and add some fresh ground kasuri methi leaves and a pinch of garam
masala. Garnish with coriander leaves.
10. Serve the dish with basmati rice or naan/roti!!
